Yoga DVD Instructional Styles, Durations, Features, Locations, Difficulty : Comparison Chart

Use the chart below or use our descriptions page to compare DVDs and decide which ones are best for you.

Yoga Types (styles) : A yoga DVD is usually a combination of instructional styles even when it seems to emphasize one style. For instance a yogi who is practicing Ashtanga or Vinyasa yoga (flowing with the breath) will often practice simple Hatha yoga to warm up or cool down or adjust alignment. Our DVDs have several styles combined together to help enhance the user experience.

Yoga Teachers: All our yoga teachers are certified by prominent teaching facilities that follow one or more of the major instructional yoga lineages. They all have large student followings and are rising stars in the yoga industry.

Audio and Video Track Choices: We have designed our DVDs to inspire you to practice more yoga. We want to provide you with the best experience possible and we must work with the limited space that is available on a DVD. Therefore we must choose between audio and video variety when designing them. Many other yoga DVD producers and yoga teachers have chosen to provide more video or they leave the DVD half empty. If they fill the DVD with video the results are often a cumbersome mentally focused user experience that lacks inspiration. These types of DVDs often do not motivate you to play the DVD over and over until you really start to feel your yoga practice as opposed to think your yoga practice. Therefore our DVDs emphasize audio choices and the results have been extremely positive. Please keep this in mind when practicing yoga and especially when using any DVD. Notice your thoughts, let them go, and feel you body. Do this over and over and incorporate this everywhere in your life and watch yourself grow through all of life's challenges.
